Arms Out: Ragnarok's Edge

From a devoted developer's heart:

Hey guys,
Let me be real with you for a second...
I'm a solo developer and a recent dad
that is trying to create something meaningful and fun.
 Over the past month or so,
I've been crafting a game loop, envisioning it to evolve into an
RPG Roguelike
with elements of Hack & Slash. However,
the game is far from completion..
This prototype serves as a canvas
 for me
to absorb and grow from your
invaluable feedback.

Prologue

Hear, hear the story of the untold warrior.
A story convoluted in struggle and hardship.
The bell has rung and destiny has called.

Wake now and rise strong warrior, for the ley lines require sacrifice!
The land has fallen dark through
destitution and the people have suffered for it.

Malevolent spirits have taken control of the heart and mind
of the masses and greed
has taken over.

You, oh wanderer,
solely you have been embraced by the gods with both
curse and blessing,

For it is only you who has been so graced as to hold the relics of times gone by.

Ions have passed and the Relics demand blood and death of
those who seek the destruction of the natural order.

You,
direct descendant of the Oguns,
are now to uphold this strenuous duty. But first, wake up!

Wake and untangle the tangled chaos
that has plagued this now unholy land.
For you stand at the Ragnarok’s edge.
